Membership in Planters
In 2001, The Lois Odence Nursing Scholarship was established with gifts made in memory of Mrs. Odence, and an emphasis on nursing began. Each year, scholarships are awarded to nursing students within the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease to help defray expenses beyond their nursing school needs – such as childcare and transportation. To date, over $300,000 has been given to deserving nursing students. With your support, this number continues to climb each year as we inspire our community of health care professionals and those who have a close connection to Morton Plant Mease.
