Planters Luncheon Donation - Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation

MAKE A DONATION TO PLANTERS FALL LUNCHEON

On Monday, October 2, 2023, Planters will host their annual Fall Luncheon, honoring this year's Lois Odence Nursing Scholarship Recipients.

Proceeds from the event support the scholarship program, which was created in 2001. Each year, scholarships are awarded to nursing students at the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease to help with expenses beyond their nursing school needs, such as childcare and transportation. Since its inception, nearly $400,000 has been awarded to 179 nursing students, helping to alleviate the financial pressures of working and attending nursing school.
